Am Can CH Paquestone's The Sky's The Limit
(Am Ch Primrose Top Shelf x BIS Am Can CH Penedanes Paquestone Play-Me)SKYE
Skye turned "Six Years Old" in the middle of June. I decided that she should be shown in Best Of Breed Competition at our local Specialty Show, this year. I am so pleased that the judge, Clare Lincoln, sees the same great quality in this bitch that I do. It was so exciting for Skye and me to win the Western Great Dane Club of BC's 28th Annual Specialty Show. Skye is a joy to live with and such a pleasure to see playing in my yard.
Can CH Paquin's EZ Come EZ Go
(Indian BIS CH Paquestone's Quinton Quest X Can & Indian Ch. Ruatha Daynakin Ladyhawk)
Envy
Envy came home with me from India and her breeder, Rajesh Katyal in November, 2007. After having some time to settle into her new Canadian home and routine, I showed her a few times in-doors and she picked up a few points. We took a bit more time off and I entered her in the Pacific Kennel Club shows in July, our Western Great Dane Club Specialty weekend. She finished on the first and second days of the shows, finishing with Best of Winners in good competition. Envy followed up in the U.S. on her debut weekend earning a 3 point Best of Winners at the Gig Harbour Shows in mid September under esteemed judge Mr. James Reynolds. I will make up dates on her progress, as I feel she should finish in a timely fashion. Envy will finish with her health checks this fall and will be bred late in the year or early in the 2009 to a top stud dog.
Ch Paquestone N'Zaniri Xena
(Am Can CH Paquestone Zaniri's Navajo x BISS Am Can CH Paquestone N'Zaniri's Piper)
Xena earned Best in Sweeps at the Western Great Dane Club Specialty July 2006 and is also training for agility competition. She finished her Championship easily, owner handled and is now winning in the Specials ring. Xena is owned by Tracy Dycer, Chad Tuberfield & Raymond Goldstone.
Can CH Daynakin's Pasha of Paquestone
(American Canadian Champion Daynakin Bricarlo Mr. Wonderful Double D x American Canadian Ch. Daynakin Ruatha Ladyhawke)
Pasha
Pasha, owned by Lynda Molter and co-owned with Raymond Goldstone, finished her Canadian Title in late July with another big win at the Sagebrush Working and Herding Specialty. We will get an up dated picture of this lovely bitch in the coming weeks, as we overlooked taking one at the Specialty. With thanks to Joanne Kinney for piloting Pasha to this win.
CH Paquestone's Zippy Do Da Daze CGN
(Ch Paquestone's The Masked Man X Ch Paquestone's Tuesday Time)
Dasey
Dasey went to live with Nikki and Sharon King, of Clagary, Alberta, when she was 8 weeks old. She is their first "Show Dog" and I so proud of how well they have done with her. They took her to classes and trained her and Sharon has shown her to most of her wins for her Championship title.
Dazey won her first points at her show debut as a junior puppy in March 2007 in Calgary, with 2 Best Puppy in Breed, 2 Best of Opposite Sex and 2 Best of Winners. At the Red Deer show in April, she won Best Puppy in Breed, Best of Opposite and Best of Winners. She followed up with a Best Puppy in Group at the Hub City Kennel Club show in Saskatoon in May and finished her Canadian Championship the following weekend in Medicine Hat with Winner's Bitch. Dazey is going to be starting Obedience classes in the fall.
Paquestone's Ya Ya Tequila
(Ch. Paquestone's The Masked Man X A/C Ch Paquestone's The Sky's The Limit)
Tequila
Tequila lives with Terry & Joanne Watne in Albany, Oregon, U. S. A. She went to live with them when she was 9 weeks old. After a shakey start in the ring in Albany in April, Tequila has done quite well. I took her to major shows in Las Vegas when she was 10 months old. In four shows she was awarded a major Reserve and pulled out and considered for on another day. Tequila has been shown two weekends in Canada. She won Best of Opposite in Sweepstakes at our local specialty and she has been awarded Reserve Winners every time except once when she has been in the ring. The only time she was not awarded Reserve she was awarded Winners Female for 3 points. Tequila made another weekend trip to BC from Albany, OR. where she lives. Tequila was awarded Winners Female at the Western Great Dane Club of BC's 28th Annual Specialty Show and at one of the Pacific Kennel Club Shows. Of course she has another reserve to her credit. Tequila need one point to finish ther Canadian Championship and I will have to get on this in the fall.......
Paquestone's Yolanda
(Ch. Paquestone's The Masked Man X A/C Ch. Paquestone's The Sky's The Limit)
This is Yolanda, our brindle sweetie!! Yolanda is pointed in Canada and I will get her into the show ring after the New Year. Yolanda lived with me until she was a year old. She went to live with Patrick & Karen Duff and "Tobias" earlier this summer. The Duff's now have the sweetest excavator they have ever owned. I know that they have joy with this girl every day of her life.
Brinlann Paquestone n'Zaniri Summer Breeze
(American BISS CH Shillrest Sure-Fire One n Only x Brinnlann's So Yesterday)
Breeze
Breeze is co-owned by Joanne and Laureen Kinney and Raymond Goldstone. I admired Rowdy her sire and very much wanted another brindle Great Dane, so asked Brian Witmier, her breeder, to keep me in mind for a nice brindle puppy. Watch for her in 2009 in puppy classes.
