Tobias (shown top above) has had an exciting show career which included earning his Canadian Championship in 2004 with a Group II along with WD at the Western Great Dane Club Specialty weekend along the way. Tobias earned a 4 point U.S. major as Winners Dog at the Great Dane Club of Northern California in April 2004, at just over 12 months of age and Best of Opposite Sex in Sweepstakes at the Great Dane Club of Western Washington Specialty weekend, August 2004. He finished his American Championship with three more 4 point majors in January 2005 at the All Breed Show at the Rose Cluster. Only three weekends shown in the U.S.! He is being specialled occasionally in Canada, and was the proud winner of Best of Opposite Sex at the Western Great Dane Club of BC Specialty July 25, and took 2 Group 2s (with Judge Tim Doxtater pictured above) and a Group 3 at the All Breed show the same weekend. Tobias finished off 2005 in great style, winning another Group II and then a Best in Show at Oceanside KC September 11, 2005 under Mexican judge Louis Arozamena. Tobias lives with Patrick & Karen Duff of Victoria, B. C. and is co-owned with Raymond R. Goldstone (agent).

(Can CH Paquestone's The Masked Man x Can CH Paquestone's Tuesday Time)
ZORRO
Zorro was my puppy that would not go away. He was returned when he was 8 weeks old, after 3 days with his new owner. As I was sheduled to judge locally, I did not show any of my dogs until mid-summer this year. Zorro has done well in the show ring. He was in the ring two weekends as a puppy. He won Best Puppy In Goup twice. He won Best Puppy In Specialty once. Zorro picked up 10 points in two shows in one day. He had to be shown one more time to finish his title, as per Canadian Kennel Club rules. Zorro started out in the U.S. with his handler Georgia Hymmen and on four weekends, he earned 6 points and his first major along with many major reserves. In Mid September, Zorro and I attended the Great Dane Club of Western Washington, back to back Specialty Shows. He was awarded Winners both days for a second major and single points. As Zorro now has 11 points, including both of his "Majors" I hope that I can finish him in the U. S. before the end of the year. I am so happy that this dog was returned as Zorro is a joy to live with.

Midas has all his health checks and is having a great time at home with the Rose's and their daughters. He learns new tricks every month and terriorizes his companion, River. He will be working toward a TDX. In the future hopefully there will be time to try to attain some other performance titles. He is a wonderful out going Great Dane with lovely size and substance.
