Skye finished her Canadian Championship in 2003. She started off 2004 with two majors at the January Portland Specialty weekend and completed her American Championship with another major at the all-breed show during the Great Dane Club of Western Washington Specialty weekend! She ended 2004 with a Best of Breed at Lower Mainland Dog Fanciers show (the largest in Canada) over multiple specials. Other notable wins; the Bred By Class each day and overall Best Bred By at the Great Dane Club of Northern California Specialty in late April 2003. Skye also won an Award of Merit at the Western Great Dane Club of BC Specialty in July 2004. Skye is a very big, typey bitch who excells in head and is out of a repeat breeding of Winnie x Remy. Skye is being Specialed in Canada and the U.S. on a limited basis.

Skye turned "Six Years Old" in the middle of June.  I decided that she should be shown in Best Of Breed Competition at our local Specialty Show, this year.  I am so pleased that the judge, Clare Lincoln, sees the same great quality in this bitch that I do.  It was so exciting for Skye and me to win the Western Great Dane Club of BC's 28th Annual Specialty Show.  Skye is a joy to live with and such a pleasure to see playing in my yard.
